Come to Bellingham for deep, 3-Dimensional Learning in the NGSS

Engage in in-depth, intimate workshops focused on equity, implementing three-dimensional teaching, learning, and assessing in STEM classrooms. There will be sessions for elementary, middle, and high school educators in all science disciplines. Please join us to learn about how implementing standards-based STEM curriculum has improved student experiences in Washington.

Please note...once you register for the conference, you can sign up for specific workshops.

This is new this year, based on demand and based on space limitations. You wanted a lesser number of more in depth workshops, so we have that for you.

Each workshop on Friday and on Saturday has a limit, which is listed in the General Schedule, and on each days' schedule.

It will also be listed in the app

Description: Immerse yourself in collaborative learning to experience POGIL from a student’s perspective. You will experience group roles, analyze the design of guided inquiry activities, and explore the connections between POGIL strategies and NGSS Science and Engineering Practices. These strategies support students including English language learners, students with learning disabilities, students with autism spectrum disorder, and students in gifted/talented programs. You will leave with access to three POGIL activities to use with your students.
