Listing ID: 161114002

Shoreline is 10 miles north of Downtown Seattle, and is primarily residential with more than 70 percent of the households being single-family residences. In 1995 Shoreline officially became a city being incorporated by King County. Today with almost 54,000 residents, Shoreline is Washington's 20th largest city.  Over the years, the Shoreline community has developed a reputation for strong neighborhoods, excellent schools and abundant parks.

The Shoreline School District has had strong support with bond and levy measures from the district's voters. In February 2010 voters approved a bond issue for the modernization/replacement of both Shorecrest and Shorewood High Schools.  The new Shorewood High School opened in the fall of 2013.  All students in grades 9 to 12 receive an iPad for use both at school and at home.
