The tradition of annual field conferences for the PNW section of NAGT continues this year in Wenatchee in the center of the state of Washington. Field trips will take advantage of the diverse array of geology in the area, from the Cascade Mountains to the Columbia Plateau and from accreted terranes to glacial and ice-age flood landforms. The conference day will feature a broad array of contributions from researchers and geoscience educators of all types.

Wenatchee Valley College has arranged so that K-12 teachers seeking continuing education in Earth Sciences can earn up to 40 clock hours, or 8 hours for each day of the meeting they register for and attend.
For the clock hours, they should contact Wenatchee Valley College's Department of Continuing Education at 509.682.6900 and speak to either Michele Gedrose or Erin Davidson. Paperwork will be conveniently made available at the meeting to complete the process.
