Professional Learning Strand: Biology Collection of Evidence Training

 

Target Audience: High School Teachers, Administrators

 

Course Description: This workshop will target specifically science graduation requirement for students graduating 2015 and beyond.  As students begin the assessment process in science and are not successful on the Biology End of Course exam, a student can also so proficiency in Biology through a Biology COE.  Participants in the workshop will receive foundational information on the Biology COE, example tasks used to help teachers and students on the Biology COE, and hands on training on the online process used to submit the Biology COE. OSPI resources were used in the development of this workshop.

Fee:  $50 WSTA Members//$75 Non-Members

Time: 6 hours

Clock hours: 6 clock hours ($15) Please bring check or cash
